POSITION SUMMARY
Serves participants by greeting and directing them to appropriate services; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. Assists with behavioral health department billing tasks. Supports the three major components of the Behavioral Health Division – mental health, substance use, and I/DD programming. The receptionist is responsible for greeting participants, checking participants in for appointments, answering telephones and providing general information to the public. They are responsible for gathering and verifying insurance information, recording information changes from participants and directing them to the appropriate staff and/ or waiting area. Receptionist manages mail, performs filing and clerical duties including receiving and recording participant payments and pharmacy deliveries. Assists with data entry and BH billing assignments.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) required.
