Maimonides Medical Center Department of Psychiatry is currently seeking a SeniorStaff Psychologist for our child and adolescent outpatient psychiatry service. You will join a team of dedicated professionals partnering with a diverse population of patients to improve mental health and well-being.
In this role, you will:
Supervise therapy cases for psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and psychology externs.
Participate in group supervision of psychology interns’ and externs’ psychological/neuropsychological testing cases in collaboration with other staff psychologists.
Provide clinical didactics to psychiatry residents and psychology interns and externs.
Maintain caseload of individual therapy patients.
Supervise psychology trainees.
Attend weekly division meetings and department Grand Rounds.
We require:
PhD or PsyD in Clinical, combined Clinical-School, or Counseling Psychology.
Current NYS licensure or license-eligibility as a psychologist.
Four (4) years’ post-licensure experience as a psychologist.
